The Sex Doctor: Thrill of a foursome.

Byline: DR Catherine Hood

Dear Dr Cath

AT a party with my boyfriend I was approached by a woman who started telling me private things about her husband. Then she asked whether my boyfriend and I would be interested in a foursome or partner swap. She told me to think about it and gave me her number. At first I laughed it off, but I'm now interested. Should I talk to my boyfriend about it?

MANY adults are exploring the once taboo practices of threesomes, foursomes, wife- swapping and orgies. Having sex with new people can give you experiences you can reproduce with your partner.

But this kind of sexual adventure isn't for all couples. Tell your boyfriend what happened and see how he responds. Many men would find the thought irresistible - but he might be worried or jealous, especially if you give away the personal details you were told.

If your boyfriend is interested, ring the woman and suggest you all meet for a drink with no strings attached. If you like what you see, it's your choice whether to go ahead - but make sure you insist on using condoms to protect yourself.
