That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed southbound interchange link road, linking the westbound M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road at Shawhead Junction, to the southbound A725/A726 Shawhead - East Kilbride - Phillipshill Roundabout Trunk Road, a distance of 700m or thereby.

135. That length of the A725/A726 Shawhead - East Kilbride - Phillipshill Roundabout Trunk Road being the newly constructed northbound interchange link road, linking the A725/A726 Shawhead - East Kilbride - Phillipshill Roundabout Trunk Road at Shawhead Junction, to the eastbound M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, a distance of 850m or thereby. 136. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the circulatory carriageway of the Baillieston Interchange roundabout, a distance of 800 metres or thereby.

137. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from a point directly over the centreline of the A752 Aikenhead Road, generally westwards to a point directly under the centreline of the circulatory carriageway at the east side of the Baillieston Interchange roundabout , a distance of 1.46km or thereby. 138. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from a point directly under the centreline of the circulatory carriageway at the east side of the Baillieston Interchange roundabout, generally eastwards to a point directly over the centreline of the A752 Aikenhead Road, a distance of 1.46km or thereby.

139. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound on slip at Baillieston Interchange roundabout, a distance of 315 metres or thereby. 140. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound off slip at Baillieston Interchange roundabout, a distance of 540 metres or thereby. 141. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from its diverge from the circulatory carriageway A89 Bargeddie generally southeast to a point directly over the centreline of the A752 Aikenhead Road, a distance of 1.59km or thereby.

142. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from a point directly over the centreline of the A752 Aikenhead Road to where it meets the circulatory carriageway A89 Bargeddie generally northwest, a distance of 1.63km or thereby.

143. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the circulatory carriageway of the Swinton Roundabout, a distance of 410 metres or thereby.

144. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from its junction with A89 Coatbridge Road at Baillieston Cross generally eastwards to where it meets the circulatory carriageway at Swinton, a distance of 306 metres or thereby.

145. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from where it diverges from the circulatory carriageway at Swinton generally westwards to its junction with A89 Coatbridge Road at Baillieston Cross, a distance of 340 metres or thereby.

146. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from where it diverges from the circulatory carriageway at Swinton generally eastwards to where it meets the circulatory carriageway of the Baillieston Interchange roundabout, a distance of 270 metres or thereby.

That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from where it diverges from the circulatory carriageway of the Baillieston Interchange roundabout generally westward to where it meets the circulatory carriageway at Swinton, a distance of 270 metres or thereby.

That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from where it diverges from the circulatory carriageway of Newhouse Roundabout to where it meets the circulatory carriageway of the Chapelhall Junction South Roundabout, a distance of 2.06km or thereby.

149. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound off slip at Newhouse Junction, a distance of 886 metres or thereby.

150. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from where it diverges from that length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road between Junction 6 (Newhouse) and Junction 8 (Baillieston) between the north roundabout of Chapelhall Junction and Junction 6 (Newhouse) to where it meets the eastbound on slip from the circulatory carriageway of Newhouse Roundabout, a distance of 1.06km or thereby.

151. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from a point 959 metres generally eastwards from a point over the centreline of the circulatory carriageway at the east side of the Newhouse roundabout generally westwards to a point where it meets that length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road being the westbound on slip from the circulatory carriageway of Newhouse Roundabout, a distance of 1.42km or thereby.

152. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound on slip at Newhouse Junction 6 (Newhouse), a distance of 350 metres or thereby. 153. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from a point directly under the centreline of the newly constructed B799 Bo'Ness Road, generally eastwards to a point directly over the centreline of the circulatory carriageway at the west side of the Newhouse roundabout, a distance of 1.86km or thereby. 154. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed northbound carriageway from its diverge from the circulatory carriageway of the Bo'ness Road south roundabout generally northwards to where it meets the circulatory carriageway Chapelhall Junction south roundabout a distance of 230 metres or thereby.

164. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed northbound carriageway from its diverge from the circulatory carriageway of the Chapelhall Junction north roundabout generally northwards to where it meets the circulatory carriageway Bo'ness Road north roundabout a distance of 250 metres or thereby.

165. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed southbound carriageway from its diverge from the circulatory carriageway of the of Bo'ness Road north roundabout generally southwards to where it meets the circulatory carriageway Chapelhall Junction north roundabout a distance of 220 metres or thereby.

166. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed carriageway between its diverge from the circulatory carriageway of the Chapelhall Junction north roundabout to where it meets the circulatory carriageway Chapelhall Junction south roundabout a distance of 130 metres or thereby.

167. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from a point directly under the centreline of the Eurocentral Junction overbridge, generally eastwards to a point directly under the centreline of newly constructed B799 Bo'Ness Road, a distance of 1.65km or thereby.

That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from a point directly under the centreline of newly constructed B799 Bo'Ness Road generally westwards to a point directly under the centreline of the Eurocentral Junction overbridge, a distance of 1.65km or thereby.

169. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the circulatory carriageway of the Eurocentral Junction South Roundabout, a distance of 285 metres or thereby. 170. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the circulatory carriageway of the Eurocentral Junction North Roundabout, a distance of 285 metres or thereby. 171. That length of the temporary A8 (Newhouse - Baillieston) Trunk Road (APR), being the newly constructed eastbound off slip at Eurocentral Junction, a distance of 709 metres or thereby. 175. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed eastbound carriageway from its diverge from the circulatory carriageway of the Eurocentral Junction north roundabout generally eastwards to where it meets the circulatory carriageway of the Chapelhall Junction north roundabout, a distance of 1.34km or thereby.

176. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the carriageway between its diverge from the circulatory carriageway of the Eurocentral Junction north roundabout to where it meets the circulatory carriageway of the Eurocentral Junction south roundabout a distance of 150 metres or thereby. 177. That length of the A725/A726 Shawhead - East Kilbride - Phillipshill Roundabout Trunk Road, being the newly constructed southbound carriageway from its intersection with the centre point of the roundabout at the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road eastbound on/off slip, generally southwards to a point directly under the centreline of the Diamond Interchange overbridge, a distance of 1.80km or thereby.

178. That length of the A725/A726 Shawhead - East Kilbride - Phillipshill Roundabout Trunk Road, being the newly constructed northbound carriageway from a point directly under the centreline of the Diamond Interchange overbridge , generally northwards to its intersection with the centre point of the roundabout at the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road eastbound on/off slip, a distance of 1.80km or thereby.

179. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from a point directly under the centreline of the A725/A726 Shawhead - East Kilbride - Phillipshill Roundabout Trunk Road, generally westwards to a point directly over the centreline of the A752 Aikenhead Road, a distance of 2.86km or thereby.

196. That length of the M8/A8 Edinburgh - Greenock Trunk Road, being the newly constructed westbound carriageway from where it diverges from the circulatory carriageway of the Baillieston Interchange roundabout generally westward to where it meets the circulatory carriageway at Swinton, a distance of 270 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the said lengths of road to allow construction work to take place, will be in force from 27 April 2016 and the prohibitions contained in the Order will only have effect in relation to such lengths of road specified above when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire and rescue, coastguard, ambulance or police purposes, vehicles being driven by the special forces for training or national security purposes or to vehicles while being used in connection with the works. Alternative routes for traffic in relation to the length of road affected by the Order during the prohibition will be as signposted.
