"The Great Canyon Time Train" is a visual adventure story about a special train ride to the Grand Canyon for twins Sam and Rosie. They decide to take a special guided Time Train tour of the Grand Canyon which allows them to see events in the Canyon's past. Lots of different levels and layers of rocks are magically penetrated by the Time Train, and it even spends some time in a swamp, like a mystical submarine! The time and land of the dinosaurs is glimpsed, and also woolly mammoths and Native Americans, as the Time Train loops and doubles through time changes. Finally the twins are brought back to the train station by the suspendered Major Powell, and their parents ask how they liked the tour. "The Great Grand Canyon Time Train" is a fabulous educational device to show children the evolution through ages of a great natural phenomenon.
