The Royal treatment.

Byline: Neil Hodgson

FINANCIAL services group Royal Liver has introduced a free well-being programme for staff at their Pier Head HQ.

Weekly treatments will help staff improve their lifestyles and stay physically and mentally healthy.

They include coaching and mentoring, lifelong learning, personalised training and development, free fruit and healthy food, smoking cessation services, counselling, financial health-checks, reflexology and the Japanese spiritual healing practice of Reiki.

Spokeswoman Nicola Foster said: "In the 21st century we face challenges both in and out of work. Our aim is to help staff to understand those challenges and adapt their lifestyles to meet them.

"This includes helping our people to realise the importance of striking a good work/life balance."
