The Redford Golf Group Feels the Change in the Economy is an Opportunity for Golf Course Renovation Projects.

Strategic planning and ample research create a solid foundation for the future of golf at Belle Rive

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The current state of the economy has decreased the number of golf course developments and forced developers to focus on golf course renovation projects. The Redford Golf Group is aware of this switch in priorities because they are involved with them. For the past six months, The Redford Golf Group has been working with Lauricella Land www.lauricellaland.com to develop multiple strategies that could help position Belle Rive, the existing Colonial Golf & Country Club. Belle Rive www.bellerivela.com is a proposed 154 unit condominium tower adjacent to the Mississippi River. Belle Rive, Greater New Orleans' first real estate project post-Katrina to have state-of-the-art fitness, dining, and golf all in one, is scheduled to start construction in spring of 2009.

"We have seen everything in the past four years. From hurricanes to a weakening economy, the golf industry hasn't seen anything like this since the 80's," said Russell P. Redford, CEO for The Redford Golf Group. The Redford Golf Group www.redfordgolfgroup.com has been involved with a number of opportunities along the Gulf Coast. With the hurricanes threatening every year, and consumers stretching assets, developers are certain to do their due diligence. Most developers are in need of a golf consultant that can provide valuable insight at an affordable price. "Lauricella Land has generated success off of sound advice. In this market we have to be certain that our investments are diversified with proven best practices," mentioned Louis Lauricella, Director of Development for Lauricella Land. The Redford Golf Group is doing just that. After six months of collaboration, Belle Rive has a solid foundation with a golf component that is certain to support the need for a residential concept offering premium golf capabilities. "We are pleased with the current state of Belle Rive. The fact that we have worked through so many changes in the market, I am pleased with the services that we have delivered for Lauricella Land," confirmed Russell P. Redford.

The next four months will be focused on real estate reservations in Greater New Orleans. The golf component at Belle Rive will serve the hospitality, business, and residential markets.

The Redford Golf Group prides itself on understanding goals, evaluating research, identifying objectives and implementing business systems. At the end of the day, the Redford Golf Group provides strategic direction that will incorporate golf's tangibles.
