The Razz: Jude and his fist of fury.

YOU might have thought Jude Law was a gentle soul, but he managed to express his anger on the set of his new movie Alfie.

The movie's director Charles Shyer wanted Jude to show his character's anger, by punching throught the window of his car, but Jude's initial attempt was feeble.

After telling him to pretend the glass was a member of the paparazzi, Jude managed to do the job properly.

Charles Shyer said: 'Jude was going through a time when he was being besieged by paparazzi and gossip, just no privacy.

' He hit the windshield once and it was okay. I just went up to him and said, 'The windshield's the paparazzi.' and he hauled off and hit that thing so hard that he cracked it.

' That's not a special effect. To break it, we had to have a sledgehammer, because it was that kind of glass and Jude did it with his fist.'
