The Judge: VERDICTS - Ex has landed me with loan.

I SEPARATED from my husband and he agreed to continue to pay a bank loan which we had used for home improvements and furniture for our house. He hasn't paid and the bank are now chasing me for the payments. What can I do?

IF this is a joint loan, you are jointly liable for the debt and the bank are entitled to pursue you. If you pay the full amount, you can recover this from your husband under your common law right of relief or as a claim in your divorce action.
