The Italian yearbook of international law; v.14

This volume offers English speakers a survey of Italian contributions to the practice and literature of international law. In the first section, 14 essays from academics and practitioners address doctrinal issues. Topics include (for example) UN Charter reform, corporations as international actors, and human genetics and reproductive technology. The second section provides an overview of Italian practice relating to international law in such areas as diplomatic relations, the environment, human rights, and criminal law. A bibliography of Italian literature on international law is found at the back of the volume, along with some reviews of recent books. Editor Conforti is affiliated with the U. of Naples. Martinus-Nijhoff is an imprint of Brill.
