The Head Of The Shiite Waqf Stresses From Turkey The Need To Renew Religious Discourse To Counter Terrorist Ideology.

Najaf, Iraq (NINA) - The head of the Shiite waqf bureau, Alaa al-Moussawi met with the head of Turkish religious affairs Ali Arbash at the Ottoman Documents Center in Istanbul on the sidelines of his visit to Turkey. The director of the media and public relations in the Shiite waqf bureau Haidar Jalukhan said in a press statement that Moussawi discussed with Arbash the cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries in the cultural and religious fields, stressing the need to address the renewal of religious discourse as an imperative in the cultural confrontation against terrorism. Moussawi said:" Takfiri terrorism ended in Iraq militarily by the fatwa of the holy jihad, but the media machine of terrorism is still strong and is used to promote lies and misguidance to sow sedition among all Islamic communities. " He stressed: "The need to deny terrorists access to media outlets, counter terrorism and extremist ideology throughout the region and the world by strengthen communication between Muslim scholars in all Islamic countries as well as unite the word and support noble positions in the defense of Al- Aqsa Mosque and Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) against the Zionist schemes to Judaize Al-Quds./ End
