The French adore their dish 'n' kips; RELAXING.

THE French spend more time eating and sleeping than anyone in the world.

They kip for an average of nine hours a night and take more than two hours over their food, a survey has revealed.

Americans are second in the table of sleepyheads, with 8.5 hours in bed.

Despite their love of siestas, Spaniards only make third place in the study by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The Japanese sleep the least. But then they spend so much time getting to work on long commutes and so long in the office there's barely time for them to get 40 winks.
