The Executive Council has unanimously confirmed Gov. John Lynch's nomination of Carol Ann Conboy to serve as an associate justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court and Amy Ignatius to serve on the state Public Utilities Commission.

The Executive Council has unanimously confirmed Gov. John Lynch's nomination of Carol Ann Conboy to serve as an associate justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court and Amy Ignatius to serve on the state Public Utilities Commission. Conboy, of Bow, has served as an associate justice of the state Superior Court since 1992 and is the supervisory justice of Merrimack County Superior Court. Since 2006, Ignatius served as director of the state Office of Energy and Planning. Before that, she served as general counsel to the Public Utilities Commission, a position she also held from 1991 to 1998.
