The European Grand Tour - Guzzi style.

CALLING all Moto Guzzi enthusiasts -the Moto Guzzi factory is launching a European tour to Milan's International Motorcycle show, where a special celebration for Moto Guzzi owners will take place.

The organisers of the famous Mille Miglia race are running the tour. Convoys of Moto Guzzi enthusiasts will set off from six European cities on their bikes to meet in Milan on November 10 for the opening of the show.

The British contingent will be departing from London on November 8, covering 920 miles in three legs with overnight stops in Paris, Grenoble and Milan. The route takes in stunning scenery and alpine passes.

Moto Guzzi will provide a lead rider and back-up van with technical support, and riders will receive a pack including Moto Guzzi route map, program, hospitality voucher, badge, patch and customised Moto Guzzi diary.

The best travel journals and photos will be published on the website Different packages are available. Full board includes accommodation and meals for outbound and return journeys. Basic lets you book in for the Where Eagles Fly party only on Tuesday November 10.

Here, all the 2010 Moto Guzzi bikes will be unveiled and you'll be mingling with key figures from the Guzzi world. There'll also be a unique exhibition of Moto Guzzis from the past, present and future.

Participants will also receive entry to the hospitality area on the Piaggio Group exhibition stand, a reserved garage area for parking, preview presentation of a new Moto Guzzi model, auction of vintage Guzzi motorcycles topped off by a performance from a contemporary band of Guzzi owning musicians! Finally, approximately 800 Moto Guzzi motorcycles and their owners will come together to form the Moto Guzzi logo mosaic at the EICMA venue, in a bid to create a new Guinness World Record.
