NEW YORK -- Schematic, a WPP company, announced today its selection by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) to create the EIF's new iparticipate.org Website designed to boost Americans' commitment to volunteerism by streamlining the task of finding suitable volunteer opportunities. Launched last week, the groundbreaking site offers an immersive experience and fast navigation to allow users to quickly find appropriate volunteer choices wherever they may live. Users can search for and find volunteer work in areas such as conservation, children's literacy, health, the environment, sports, support for military families and a host of other categories.
The iparticipate.org site is the information and action hub of the EIF's overarching "I Participate" initiative announced last week at a star-studded event in New York's Times Square and designed to spur Americans to action in addressing pressing social issues where they work and live. Developed by Schematic to make it as easy as possible for busy users to find, research and evaluate potential volunteer options, the site integrates volunteering data from non-profit All For Good's dynamically updated volunteer opportunities database. Users can access all the tools on the iparticipate.org site using just their Facebook login info.
