The E-textbook solution.

College students no Longer have to Lug around heavy, textbook-filled backpacks, thanks to a partnership between IBM and Vital Source Technologies. Now, universities can preload textbooks from more than a dozen prominent publishers onto IBM ThinkPad notebooks and ThinkCentre desktops. This will help solve textbook availability issues as well as reduce textbook costs. Many institutions, including Boston University, NYU, Peace College (NC), the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, and Wake Forest University (NC) are taking advantage of the new software solution.
