The Diary: Gazz Guzzlers; Star spends pounds 60,000 on Harley superbikes.

LOOKS like Gazza has finally lost the plot with his latest hare- brained scheme.

The wayward soccer star, who had a second spell been in The Priory Clinic earlier this month, has just paid pounds 60,000 for two custom-built Harley Davidson superbikes.

And the 32-year-old former England star is so impressed with the 135mph monsters he's planning to buy more for his family and friends.

Gazza's pride and joy is called the Green Dragon and set him back pounds 36,000.

Fully customised, it features a hand-painted picture of a naked woman riding a green dragon on the fuel tank.

He's also spent pounds 24,000 on a sleek black number called Fat Boy - perfect for his pal Jimmy Five Bellies. Both bikes have whopping 1340cc engines.

The midfielder took a fancy to the bikes after spotting them at a dealership in Newcastle and pals say he's caught the bug big time.

"Paul just liked the look of the bikes," one tells me. "He's never been much of speed freak, but this is his new hobby. He says he can always sell them when he gets bored."

Or if his beleaguered Middlesbrough boss Bryan Robson goes revving mad after reading this, perhaps.
