The Navy's Revolution in Training has come to the aviation technical community in the form of the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT). The center stood up at Naval Technical Training Center, Pensacola, Fla., on 6 September 2002. CNATT is responsible for defining all curriculum and educational tools, as well as developing technical training solutions and professional development continuums for the aviation ratings ABE, ABF, ABH, AC, AD, AE, AG, AM, AME, AO, AS, AT, AW, AZ, and PR and for nondesignated airmen. CNATT Commanding Officer Capt. Thomas Keely said, "With aviation technology changing so rapidly, it is critical that Navy training be responsive to those changes and integrate them into our curriculum, labs and classrooms. Our center will take advantage of what is going on in the private sector and our aviation technicians will be continually current in their ratings. Our Sailors will also be able to translate their Navy training into professional certifications." To learn more about CNAT T and the Navy's Revolution in Training visit www.nko.navy.mil.
