The Blue Plaque half dozen; HUDDERSFIELD DISTRICT.
THE Colne Valley Blue Plaque Trail is now up and running after more than a year of hard work by volunteers at The River Colne Project.The six sites honoured with blue plaques (similar to the one pictured above) are: Royds Hall School, Linthwaite Hall, Slaithwaite Free School, Marsden Park, the water powered electricity generator at Hey Green and Marsden Village Centre's Tenterposts, a selection of old large stones used in the cloth making industry.
