The BOX: MUST SEE - Out for justice.

Wall of Silence ITV1, 9pm, Monday

IN August 1997, 17-yearold Jamie Robe was beaten to death by a group of youths, simply because he'd stumbled into the wrong housing estate late one night.

He was murdered by members of a gang with snooker cues and baseball bats because he dared to answer them back. But although the attack happened in public in front of witnesses, officers on the case faced an immediate wall of silence. Everyone was too terrified to stand up and say what they saw.

Jamie's father Stuart, the detective in charge of the case and local MP Simon Hughes refused to admit defeat. This one-off drama charts the extraordinary lengths to which they went to bring the suspects to court.

James Nesbitt puts in his usual powerful performance as Stuart Robe, while Phil Davies plays the determined detective.
