The Amstel Light brand management team recently joined with Maxim
magazine for the first-ever charity golf tournament played on the
streets of Manhattan. The Maxim/ESQ Urban Open was a benefit for
Sehorn's Corner, a charity for children of single-parent families
started by New York Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn. Eighteen teams
consisting of celebrities and sponsors traveled through the city
competing against one another in a nine-hole putting challenge at New
York landmarks. Playing for the Amstel Light team were Rich Giner, Yuri
Schwalbe, Rich Byrne, all of Heineken USA; Jaime Bergman from
"Howard Stern's Son of a Beach"; David Boreanz from
TV's "Angel" and Adam Olic from Heineken USA.
