Thanks for my freedom.

Dear Bowhunter,

I'm writing in response to the letters that were recently published in the Between Bowhunters section in the Jan/Feb '04 issue of Bowhunter. As I read through each one of our servicemen's letters, I couldn't help but shed a tear over the sense of pride I have for our country. I am 28 years old and I've never served in the armed forces, but I do have a commonality with each of the fine soldiers who submitted letters in that I also enjoy my hunting time. This time has only been afforded by each and every person who has served our country, and for that I am grateful and humbled. Each letter in that issue has inspired me in some way. It's my hope that you will publish this "Thank You and Get Home Safe" wish to each of our servicemen and women so that they may enjoy their next trip afield as I have year in and out. Good luck and God Bless.
