Thanks for EUR5k win.

THE Irish Mirror made this man's Christmas wish come true yesterday when he won EUR5,000.

John Buckley, 56, from Askeaton in Limerick couldn't believe his luck when he scooped the T-Mobile competition prize.

He told the Irish Mirror: "I am so delighted with this prize, when I got the phone call I thought it was somebody joking. I have been entering this competition every day since it started but I never thought I would win.

"Christmas will be the best ever this year, I just have to think of something special to get my wife Nuala.

"I have four kids so they will have a great Christmas as well. My youngest is 15 and my eldest is 26 so there will be lots to buy.

"It is great to be able to splash out especially at this time of year. It is the first thing I have ever won."

The competition has been running in the Irish Mirror since November 24 and will run until December 19. John is the first Irish winner of the daily prize of EUR5,000 and now he will go through to a draw to win EUR1million.

Everyone who enters the competition is in with a chance of scooping the top prize on December 19.

So if you want to have some real festive fun this Christmas then all you have to do is buy a copy of the Mirror and text the special number with the answer to the question inside.
