Thailand offers donation to Syrian refugees in Jordan.

Amman, Oct 9 (Petra) -- Thailand donated $30,000 to Syrian refugees in Jordan in response to a joint appeal for international aid by the Jordanian government and United Nations organisations.

Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh received the donation to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation during a meeting with Thai ambassador Piriya Khempon.

Judeh thanked the Thai government for "this humanitarian gesture which is a translation of the distinguished relations between Jordan and Thailand." They also discussed means of cementing ties between the two countries.
