A NEW bar and restaurant inspired by Thai street food is set to open in Cardiff this month.

Got Beef Bar and Kitchen in Whitchurch Road, Cardiff, will serve everything from gourmet burgers to charcuterie boards to craft ales.

Founder Cai Prichard initially launched Got Beef as a mobile caterer two years ago when the food truck-inspired business toured music and food events.

"It's been a brilliant journey so far, from the original concept to where we are now," he said.

Cai was joined by Rhys Canning last year as Got Beef opened up a pop-up shop at the Canadian pub in Adamsdown.

The restaurant, which opens for the first time on Saturday from 7pm, will be open between midday and 11pm daily except Monday.
