Texas top chart.. of bad CDs.

WHITE on Blonde by Sharleen Spiteri's Texas has been voted the worst Scottish album of all time in an online poll.

The CD, which features the songs Black Eyed Boy and Halo, topped the "most hated" list even though it reached No1 on its release in 1997.

Wet Wet Wet came second with their debut Popped in, Souled Out.

Third place went to Sheena Easton, while The Proclaimers and Deacon Blue also made the list.

The poll was held on the website, set up by Paul Johnston, 39, and David Paul, 37.

Paul said: "One Wets fan who started a campaign to get The Proclaimers to No1 in the worst list, so it's stirred a lot of emotion."
