Testing time.

So now we know what everyone was up to in the 1980s.

Between the miners' strike, the rise of the yuppy and the property crash we managed to find enough time to start a mini baby boom.

One result of the hedonistic Thatcher years is that our children are now being subjected to a frustrating wait in a growing queue to take their driving test. It is yet another thing kids can blame their parents for.

Let's just hope our children don't use their time waiting for a test date laying the foundations for the next baby boom in 2021.
