TestDiagnostics Now Offers Paternity Tests for Home Sample Collection.
According to a market research survey conducted in 2013, the concern of paternity is not something men often talk about - but there is in fact a huge demand for it. Due to this growing concern, TestDiagnostics is now offering Paternity Test kits that can determine paternity with up to 99.9% accuracy for positive results, and 100% accuracy for negative results.
A paternity test can accurately detect the probability of a male as the biological father of a child. TestDiagnostics' new Paternity Test is a premium home DNA paternity test kit, using 16 genetic markers to accurately detect the statistical probability of a relationship between the samples provided by father and alleged child.
Who needs to be involved in the test? The Paternity Test only requires that the father and alleged child provide samples for testing. If patients prefer to, however, the option to include the mother is available. The advantage of including the mother in the sampling process is minimal and can increase the accuracy of the test by around 0.1%.
A TestDiagnostics Paternity Test is easy to take and can be done in minutes. All the patient will need to do is wipe the cotton swab provided in the test kit on the inside of their cheek to collect a saliva sample. This process needs to be repeated twice, once for each swab included in the test kit. After ensuring the cotton swab is completing dry, simply place the swab in the envelope provided, seal it and post it back to the partner laboratory for processing.
All DNA testing and analysis is carried out by an accredited UK laboratory in accordance with the internationally recognised ISO/IEC 17025:2005, including accreditations with the AABB, CLIA, A2LA and Ministry of Justice. Prior consent is required before paternity testing can be commenced. Results are securely emailed to the patient within 5-7 days of the laboratory receiving the completed sample and associated forms.
TestDiagnsotics.com is a London based company specialising in mail order laboratory tests. The easy to use websites allows customers to order their desired test and have it delivered to either their home or work address. The customer then provides a sample, in most cases either urine or saliva which is then posted back to the lap in a free return envelope. As soon as the test is processed the customer will be informed of their results. The concept is proving to be very popular for people who want to protect their own privacy and want a quick and easy service.
