British supermarket based provider of financial services Tesco Bank on Tuesday reported that it is making its mortgages available via brokers.
Tesco Bank has launched its new intermediary service, Tesco Mortgage Intermediaries, through which customers are able to access Tesco's range of mortgages via London and Country mortgage brokers. In the future months Tesco mortgages are scheduled to be made available via a number of firms through Legal & General's remaining Nouveau and Key Partners panel.
Intended to provide brokers with an easy and convenient service, the new intermediary service includes a number of features including searchable lending criteria, webchat, and the ability to scan and upload documents and track the status of applications from any device.
CEO, Tesco Bank, Benny Higgins commented "We aim to be the bank for people who shop at Tesco, and the launch of Tesco Mortgage Intermediaries will help us to serve more customers than ever before. The vast majority of Tesco customers select their mortgage through a broker and our platform has been specifically designed to help brokers provide a great service to customers remortgaging or purchasing their home."
