Terry Oswald publishes book on global sailing adventure.

A new book by Australian adventurer Terry Oswald tells the story of his six and a half year circumnavigation of the globe.

The trip in Oswald's seven-metre Compass yacht involved encounters with whales, sharks, barracuda, sea snakes, turtles, dolphins and other marine life. He also lost a rudder off the coast of Africa and encountered a fierce storm off the Cape of Good Hope.

'Sailing with Anywhere, Anytime Ozzie' is available now, priced at AUD29.
