Terrorist organizations have serious plans to destabilize the situation in Kyrgyzstan, said State National Security Service Chief Keneshbek Dushebaev.Terrorist acts were committed not only in November and December, but in June too, when the explosion was made in Megacity in Tokmok, in which several people were injured, he said. Then, unidentified explosive device exploded in the compound of the Jewish synagogue in Bishkek.Then the November and December events happened, Dushebaev reminded. The Interior Ministry detained a group on November 23. This group planned a series of terrorist acts in crowded and public places, government agencies, and diplomatic missions, the national security chief said. More than 10 kilos of explosives, several improvised explosive devices with detonators were seized and several people were detained.The criminal case was launched and was forwarded to the State National Security Service.During further investigation the officers of the State National Security Service together with police forces carried out a special operation in Osh city on November 29 to detain members of the underground terrorist organization, which planned to commit a series of terrorist acts in southern Kyrgyzstan. 3 terrorists were killed during the operation, who offered resistance. All this shows that terrorist organizations have serious plans to destabilize the situation in Kyrgyzstan. Some of these plans are disrupted by police and national security agency, he said.Several people were detained in Osh on December 11 in the course of investigation. These people were affiliated with terrorist organizations. They had an optical tracker from a sniper rifle, cartridges, special literature with extremist content. Several more citizens were detained later, who were affiliated with the terrorist organization, one of them was an Uzbek citizen, who was involved into the events in Andizhan in 2005. He had submachine guns, ammunition, pistols and around 15 kilos of explosives with him.
