Significant benefits are highly competitive

for consumers at work and prosumers at play

Terapin Technology, developer and manufacturer of a range of innovative and easy-to-use convergent consumer electronic products, today announced the launch of its new MP3 CD Recorder. The new product offers both consumers and prosumers advanced recording capabilities at an affordable price.

"This latest addition to the Terapin family of innovative products combines the capabilities of multiple components into one user-friendly format. It's one of the most versatile recording products on the market today," said Adam Hartway, director of sales and marketing for the Americas Division. "Now our customers can easily build an extensive audio library, with everything from live recordings of events to CD back-ups of audio content from antiquated media."

The versatile Terapin MP3 CD Recorder allows for live, real-time audio CD recording, CD-MP3 conversions, high speed audio CD duplication and playback of audio CD and MP3 CD content. In addition, it records in compressed and non-compressed formats and uses all industry standards for MP3 encoding for easy sharing and playback. The recorder duplicates video CD to video CD and also boosts PC connectivity with the ability to transfer data, audio and video files; this versatile product uses USB and Ethernet connectivity, as well as serial ports.

The MP3 CD Recorder, which is compatible with 74 and 80-minute media, is a low-cost solution for producing non-deteriorating audio content and can be used for recreational and professional purposes. The cost benefits are significant when compared with "piece-meal" solutions. Rather than buying up to five separate components for an average total of $799, recording aficionado can purchase the Terapin recorder for $499.
