<p>Water utility Tennessee American Water, a subsidiary of American Water (NYSE:AWK), reported on Tuesday the start of a USD35,000 water main installation project on Sawyer Street as part of the companya[euro](tm)s water main replacement programme.</p><p>This programme is designed to identify and replace water lines that are at the end of their useful lives.</p><p>The Sawyer Street project, expected to be completed by the end of September, will replace about 300 feet of two-inch galvanised water main, installed nearly 80 years ago, with a new six-inch water main.</p>
