Tenants quizzed on homes.

A SURVEY of Wrexham tenants revealed an insight into important issues, said council bosses yesterday.

More than 1,400 tenants were questioned to find out exactly what they thought of their neighbourhood and the condition of their homes. The study was carried out by the council as it gets to grips with the issue of finding pounds 253m to reach the Welsh housing quality standard (WHQS) by 2012.

The survey revealed 41% believed it was "better the devil you know" and 32% trusted the council as their landlord
