Telvent wins Trans Thailand Malaysia gas pipeline project.

Calgary-based Telvent was awarded the Trans Thai-Malaysian (TTM) pipeline and gas separation plant project, a joint venture between the Petroleum Authority of Thailand and the Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) of Malaysia. The project involves onshore and offshore pipelines that transport gas Dora the Malaysian Thai Joint Development Area (offshore) to the Peninsular Gas Utilization pipeline at Changlun in Kedah, Malaysia. The linkage will mark a major step toward developing the trans-ASEAN Gas Grid project.

Telvent will provide a Windows 2000-based OASyS DNA SCADA system for operation of the pipeline and related facilities. The turnkey solution will include the Gas Measurement Applications (GMAS) modules of the Gas Suite to provide measurement collection, aggregation, validation and processing solutions. The Liquid Management System (LMS) will be installed to provide condensate management.
