Telly: Video made the radio stars even more popular.

THE Beatles revolutionised the way pop songs were marketed after they decided they didn't want to tour anymore.

Their first mini film Strawberry Field's and Penny Lane became landmark videos. With John and Paul at the creative helm they created a series of short promotional films.

Now in the present music industry video is vital to the success of any pop single and pop channels such as MTV and VH1are thriving. In this special edition of the nostalgia show Top of the Pops 2 features a look at some of their classic Beatles footage including A Day In the Life from Sgt Pepper and and their last comeback single Real Love.
