Telly: Revealing which factors make us what we are.

DESPITE being kept very busy by his day job as professor of fertility studies at London university's Imperial College school of medicine, Robert Winston still manages to appear on TV regularly. If he's not Walking with Cavemen, going In Search of Frankenstein or presenting shows such as Superhuman or Threads of Life, he's in Child of Our Time, the series which follows children to find out how they develop during their first 20 years. The youngsters are now four and about to begin preschool. Winston tries to find out whether those who will be popular later in life and those who will always be loners can already be identified.

Most disturbingly, he proves how youngsters copy what they are shown on video and mimic aggression.
