Telerep takes 90,000 sf at One Dag Hammarskjold

Telerep, Inc., a television station representative and producer and distributor of syndicated television shows, has signed a major long-term lease for its world headquarters in midtown Manhattan.

The company, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, Inc., has committed to 90,000 square feet at One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, and has options to expand to additional contiguous floors. The 15-year lease carries an aggregate rent in excess of $45 million, with renewal options. The company took the 21st through the 25th floors, and the 30th floor.

Lynn B. Goddess, senior director, of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., represented Telerep in negotiations with the landlord, Tower Plaza Associates. Arthur Drazin, president of Harper-Lawrence, represented the landlord.

"The location and the views of the Manhattan skyline excited Telerep," Goddess said.

Telerep also maintains offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Detroit, San Francisco, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Seattle, St. Louis and Charlotte.

The firm relocated from 875 Third Avenue.
