Teleflex Receives 2012 Zenith Award from American Association for Respiratory Care.

LIMERICK, Pa. -- Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a leading global provider of medical devices for critical care and surgery, announced that it has received the prestigious American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Zenith Award for 2012.

"Teleflex is honored that members of the AARC acknowledge our commitment to provide valued solutions, outstanding service and innovative products that benefit the lives of respiratory patients through our Hudson RCI([R]) products and Breathing, Made Easier([R]) programs," said Cary Vance, President of the Anesthesia & Respiratory Division at Teleflex. "Receiving this award from our customers and the respiratory profession is one measure that we've earned the trust and confidence from the respiratory therapists who use our products every day to deliver high quality care to their patients."

The AARC established the Zenith Award in 1989. Each year the association's 52,000 members select five companies, from a field of 400, to receive this honor of excellence. The award recognizes manufacturers and service organizations that provided outstanding service, quality, accessibility, support and truth in advertising to the respiratory care community during the past year.

"We salute our Zenith winners and all of our vendor partners," said AARC Executive Director and CEO Thomas Kallstrom, MBA, RRT. "We have great relationships with the companies that service the respiratory care profession because we share the goal of providing our patients with the highest level of care."

Teleflex accepted the award at a ceremony during the AARC 58th International Respiratory Congress, Nov. 10-13, in New Orleans, LA.
