TeleData Technology, Inc. Partners with Aculab to Support a Comprehensive Suite of Telephony Protocols.
TeleData has integrated Aculab's Prosody PCI board into the T3 Platform, creating a more flexible solution for a wider range of customers. The Aculab board enables the T3 Platform to support a comprehensive suite of standardized telephony protocols, as well as protocols in multiple countries, and with a wide variety of switch environments.
The T3 Platform combines feature-rich messaging functionality with automated attendant, speech recognition, multi-modal (unified) messaging, interactive voice response, fax, and networking capabilities. Aculab's board allows the T3 Platform to integrate with larger PBXs and carrier equipment, as well as support ISDN protocols including QSIG and DPNSS. Through Aculab's extensive certification process the T3 Platform supports a wide, and growing, range of localized integrations, as well as new protocols and protocol features.
"Previously, our ability to use and control ISDN-based protocols was limited," states Yaniv Livneh, CEO of TeleData Technology. "We didn't find any other equipment that provided us the flexibility to support these protocols. We have been able to leverage Aculab's technical expertise to quickly integrate their product into the T3 Platform and we've already begun to realize the benefits of a more flexible platform through several successful implementations in the U.S. and Europe."
About TeleData Technology, Inc.
Since 1991 TeleData Technology has been designing innovative telephony solutions. The company's goal is to provide a comprehensive messaging solution that harnesses the best technologies in the telecommunications industry, enabling organizations to communicate effectively.
A unique, Linux-based platform supports a variety of location sizes, regional requirements and technology infrastructures in both legacy telephony and VoIP/SIP environments. Uniquely set apart from other typical multi-modal messaging solutions, the T3 is a platform-independent application that shares resources and ports across all application components. Voice, fax, interactive voice response (IVR) and announcer capabilities use any available port, mitigating costs and administration complexities. The T3 platform also utilizes tenanting and networking to integrate across multiple PBXs, email servers, database applications, and voice channels (T1, analog, VoIP).
Aculab enables developers and systems integrators to produce a variety of high performance communications solutions. Aculab's portfolio offers an exceptional mix of capabilities that are easy to integrate and bring real value - reduced costs, increased customer satisfaction and competitive advantage. A complete range of open standards building block technologies for use within telco or enterprise environments, as well as essential support services, are offered. Products include media resources, digital network access, VoIP, fax, speech processing and conferencing. Support is available to help developers through each stage of their product's life cycle including pre-sales consultancy, technical support, training and marketing.
