Teens on terror charges.

TWO Ravensthorpe teenagers facing terror charges have appeared at Leeds Crown Court.

During the hearing the 17-year-old and 18-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

The 17-year-old is charged with the possession of material which could be used for the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism, between October 1, 2006, and October 2, 2007, and the possession of a document containing information useful in the preparation of an act of terrorism, between the same dates.

The 18 year-old is charged with possession of articles which could be used for the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism between May 1, 2006, and September 13, 2007 and the possession of a document containing information useful in the preparation of an act of terrorism, between those dates.

The pair had their conditional bail extended until their trial begins at Leeds Crown Court on October 16 this year.
