Teen to find out court fate.

A TEENAGE boy will find out his fate later this month after admitting an arson attack on a Merseyside country club.

The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday via video link.

At a hearing last month, he admitted torching Formby's Shorrocks Hill in June.

The Knowsley teen was told by Judge Henry Globe, QC, that his basis of plea had now been accepted by the prosecution and he would be sentenced on Tuesday, September 15.

The boy claims he was paid pounds 500 by someone he did not know to start the fire, which caused an estimated pounds 1m worth of damage.
