Teen gave ADHD pills to children.

Byline: Record Reporter

A TEENAGER who gave three children powerful ADHD tablets and told them, "These will get you high" faces being locked up.

The youngsters were rushed to hospital suffering from increased heart rate, slurred speech and paranoia after taking the class B prescription pills.

Jordan Henderson, 17, admitted placing the children in danger by culpably and recklessly giving them his methylphenidate tablets after taking 60 himself on September 1 last year.

Henderson, of Forfar, Angus, also admitted a breach of the peace in the town on June 15 when he repeatedly shouted and swore, acted in an aggressive manner and struggled violently with police.

He further admitted assaulting Dale Valentine with a piece of wood in the town three days previously.

Forfar sheriff Kevin Veal ordered a psychiatric report and warned: "If it is not available in five weeks' time, he will be remanded in custody - no ifs or buts about it."
