Teen's threats charges.
A TEENAGER accused of threatening behaviour and knife possession faces crown court.William Brophy, of Bunny Park, Lockwood, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
He is accused of threatening behaviour at Burbeary Road in Lockwood on May 25.
The 19-year-old is also charged with having in a public place an offensive weapon, a knife. He faces a further charge of being under the influence of alcohol in a public place where his behaviour caused upset and intimidation.
It is alleged he was in breach of an anti-social behaviour order made on March 13 2010.
Magistrates previously declined jurisdiction of the case. Brophy is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on September 6. His bail conditions are that he does not contact witnesses nor enter Burbeary Road.
