Teen's badge of honour is medal of vandalism.

To the teen vandal out there - after years of hard graft, I bought myself a nice BMW as a reward.

Not even one year since getting it, you and your mates wandering near West Zone in Mirdif on Friday, thought it was funny to prise off the badge with a knife and steal it. The price of a replacement bonnet and badge is more than your first year's salary if you ever get a job.

Nice, thanks for starting my week with a smile.

Let me put a smile on your face. My mate works for the police, so he kindly dusted the bonnet for prints and the movement sensitive security camera at my place got a nice shot of all of you laughing and joking. I formally reported the incident, so the video is there.

Dear parent of teenage vandal, if your kid has a nice new BMW badge in their bedroom, ask yourself where it came from, also ask yourself why your kid is walking the streets at 11pm, armed with a weapon.

Weapon, kid... with the company he is keeping, one will probably end up getting inserted into the other and in your grief, you will doubtless wonder why, "he was such a good boy and the girls he kicked around with were so polite..."
