Young people all over the world are connecting to and learning about each other on a specially developed, interactive Web site hosted by the U.S. State Department that was created using Denver-based Red Dog Software's ReadyPortal product. The site, www.cultureconnect.state.gov, is a Web-based outgrowth of the department's CultureConnect program launched as a response to 9/11. CultureConnect sends well known U.S. artists, musicians and writers to other nations to serve as cultural ambassadors.

"We created ReadyPortal as a comprehensive package that is affordable and easy-to-use--and you don't have to be a technology expert to develop and manage it," says Barry Owen, CEO of Red Dog Software.
