Tebow Leading NFL in Jersey Sales.

Florida Gators loss is the NFL's gain. While the Gators will be suffering in the merchandise sales department after the departure of Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, NFLShop.com is enjoying his presence. Just three months after he was drafted 25th overall by the Broncos, Tebow leads all NFL players in jersey sales between April 1 and June 30.
According the CNBC Sports Business Reporter Darren Rovell (http://www.cnbc.com/id/38127832), three other quarterbacks, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo and Brett Favre, are in the top six in off-season sales. Other rookies in the top 20 include Ndamukong Suh (No. 8), Sam Bradford (No. 9), Dez Bryant (No. 15) and Eric Berry (No. 18).
NFLShop.com sells Tebow jerseys in white, orange and blue, in all sizes, including youth. The league also is offering women's jerseys including"Zebra Field Flirt" (http://www.nflshop.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4201294&origkw=tim+tebow+jersey&sr=1&kw=tim+tebow+jersey&parentPage=search) and "Pink Sweetheart" (http://www.nflshop.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4201362&origkw=tim+tebow+jersey&sr=1&kw=tim+tebow+jersey&parentPage=search) varieties.
The league needs to do everything to utilize Tebow pre-season. Tebow's marketability is at its absolute peak right now. Once he's sitting on the bench for 16 games, it will be a lot more difficult to sell his jersey.
