Teams lucky to not feel Sky's transfer fury; PICK OF THE DAY.

Live football Sky Sports 1, 8pm I'M surprised Sky aren't too disgusted to screen tonight's match between Liverpool and Tottenham, writes Michael Brear.

Kenny Dalglish and Harry Redknapp were hugely disappointing during the most important part of the season - the January transfer window - and when Spurs announced the capture of Ryan Nelsen and Louis Saha I imagine the Sky Sports execs curling their lips as if Joe Jordan had just invited them to look at what he'd done in the toilet.

Dalglish said he didn't have any big business planned (in terms of transfer dealings, we've moved on from the toilet humour) and when that proved to be the case, he added: "It's a wee bit insulting when people don't believe you."

Come on Kenny, play the game and say you tried to swap Dirk Kuyt for Lionel Messi but Barcelona couldn't afford his wages.

Nelsen and Saha may only make the bench for this game, so the pre-match pundits will be free to focus on more important things such as tactics, form and Redknapp's mode of transport.
