The authors, two Deloitte & Touche partners, provide practical guidance to top management on how to deploy and operate different types of multinational strategic alliances and joint ventures. Drawing on their many years of experience, they outline a framework for selecting partners for such ventures and implementing them with a minimum of conflict. They interviewed executives from numerous companies and examined a number of recent deals to illustrate the concepts presented. This well-written book should be of interest to anyone involved in or contemplating overseas business activity.
