SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 13, 2003

In their first successful joint operation, TGM and Tdsoft have jointly deployed Tdsoft's Hunt 8110 Broadband Access Concentrator at a government installation in the Republic of Korea. The Hunt 8110 enables real-time data and multimedia applications and videoconferencing simultaneously at multiple locations.

The government agency rents ATM infrastructure from the Incumbent Carrier and installs the Hunt 8110 as a multi-function network termination unit. The agency will deploy one unit at each branch office to enable a quality virtual private network for all its data and communications needs. The agency will also benefit from the highest quality video, which arrives at the Hunt over E1s, and is then encapsulated using the ATM Adaption Layer 1 (AAL1) to guarantee real-time quality of service.

After investigating a number of possible solutions, the Korean Government Agency chose Tdsoft for its wealth of features, reliability and usability. The main application will be cross-country multiparty videoconferencing. Deployment is expected to take place during the next few weeks.

TGM International and Tdsoft work together in bringing Tdsoft's leading technology to market in Korea and elsewhere in Asia. TGM Korea's General Manager, Min Lee and his extensive experience in the Korean market were key to making the introduction between Tdsoft's best in its class product, the customer and the appropriate system integrator for the project.

David Rubner, TGM Chairman, is enthusiastic about the deployment. "We are very happy to see the initial fruits of our work with Tdsoft in bringing its proven products to new markets. Notwithstanding numerous local competitors, Tdsoft's renowned technology and flexibility carried the day in a very competitive environment."

Yosi Albagli, President and CEO of Tdsoft, concurs. "TGM International has been instrumental in strengthening Tdsoft's position in the Asia Pacific region. After a relatively short period, our joint efforts have resulted in increased market awareness and deployment of several Hunt 8110s at Korean government installations."
