Taylor out of trip to Ospreys.

Scotland international Simon Taylor will miss Edinburgh Gunners' Celtic League trip to the Ospreys tomorrow.

The No.8, who played an integral role in the Scots' Six Nations Championship campaign, is struggling with a back injury.

But Chris Paterson, Scott Murray, Hugo Southwell, Marcus Di Rollo, Simon Webster, Mike Blair, Allister Hogg, Alastair Kellock, Craig Smith and Dougie Hall all return to the starting XV.

Edinburgh interim head coach Todd Blackadder said: 'Simon tweaked his back but I'd like to think he'll be back with us for our next match against Cardiff in two weeks.

'It has been a tough week for us selection-wise with our international players back in the frame.

'It has been a good week too and we are looking forward to going down to play last year's champions.

'We've had plenty of time to prepare for this game because we knew the internationals would be back with us.'

Meanwhile Ospreys coach Lyn Jones has challenged his team to bounce back from their last Celtic League encounter, a 40-14 defeat at Cardiff Blues earlier this month.

"Everyone was deeply disappointed with the performance against the Blues but now we must refocus on Edinburgh,' said Jones.

'The necessary hard work has been put in to prepare us for what will be a massive challenge.

'They have quality throughout their side with the majority of the Scottish team coming from within their squad.

'Their players will be full of confidence coming off the back of a successful Six Nations.
