Tasweek JV hands over luxury Malaysian development.

Tasweek Real Estate Development and Marketing has announced the joint venture project handover of the $73mn (AED269mn) The Haven Lakeside Residences in Malaysia.

The award-winning three-tower luxury development is the first eco-condotel to rise in the country.

The five-star residential complex is the result of an alliance between Tasweek and Malaysian property developer Superboom Projects Sdn Bhd which oversaw the development of The Haven.

Located in Ipoh, the country's fourth largest city and the capital of Perak, the second largest state in Peninsular Malaysia, the hybrid condominium-hotel complex comprises 497 units across three towers - 'Acacia,' 'Banyan' and 'Cycas'.

It features 24-hour security and a host of amenities such as an infinity pool, sports areas, a jogging track, meditation deck, landscaped play and relaxation areas, and a jungle trekking area, among many others.

US-based Best Western International Inc., one of the world's largest hotel chains, is a contributor to The Haven's design and facilities and will manage the development's public areas.

"The Haven represents Tasweek's meticulous search for the best property development partners in the world. It reflects our preference for projects that focus on sustainability and luxury. Ipoh is an ideal real estate market given the city's intensive efforts to develop itself into a preferred global vacation and retirement destination," said Masood Al Awar, CEO, Tasweek Real Estate Development and Marketing.

"From its location to its amenities, The Haven definitely exceeds the expectations of investors and home seekers alike."
